Green rewards galore with Hitachi!
Petaling Jaya, 13 July, 2012: A worldwide leader in innovation, Hitachi has always been at the forefront of user-friendly green technology. In conjunction with the upcoming Raya festivities, the popular household brand takes the opportunity to drive home a message of green awareness through its Midori Raya Contest.
Held from 25th June to 30th September 2012, the Midori Raya Contest promises consumers a superb line-up of attractive prizes. These range from 5 Grand Prizes of a 9-day trip for two to Istanbul, Turkey to desirable home appliances from Hitachi's eco-friendly range, including the Inverter Big French Refrigerator, Made-in-Japan Superheated Steam Microwave Oven, Inverter Front Load Washing Machine and Made-in-Japan Proactive Air Purifier. To further reward contestants, there will be 5 Weekly Prizes of iPod Shuffle and 3 Monthly Prizes of The New iPad up for grabs.
Participating is an extremely easy affair. Customers only need to obtain contest forms, available at major electrical chains and electrical shops throughout Malaysia or downloadable from Hitachi website, and locate Hitachi products in a diagram by colouring them in green. Once that is done, they are required to attach both photocopied proof of purchase and warranty card, and fill in their particulars before submitting.
"When we conceived the idea for this contest, the main aim was to add a touch of fun by getting people involved," Masahiro Sakata, Managing Director of Hitachi Sales Malaysia shares. "Seeing that green is a colour commonly associated with Raya, we decided to incorporate that element into our eco-friendly range. Ultimately, we want the public to realise that they too can play a part in preserving the environment, by simply making a right choice in home appliances."
"This Raya, we wanted to reward Malaysians with a fun contest with attractive prizes that will enrich their lives. We hope that the 5 Grand Prize winners of the 9-day round trip to Turkey will get to experience a great bonding time with their partner and enjoy an exotic, interesting place," said Sakata. "Our remaining winners will not only receive appliances that simplify their domestic tasks and routines, but also reduce their household's impact on the environment."
To drum up more excitement for the contest, Hitachi has also planned a complete campaign to engage the public. Consumers can expect to see attractive in-store designs, as well as advertisements in major newspapers and the official brand website. For a more personalised touch, the Hitachi Midori Raya Mobile Truck will also be making special appearances for 6 weeks in selected locations around the Klang Valley.
